What Our Warranty Covers:
We stand behind the artistry and structural integrity of our products. Our warranty covers any "manufacturing defects" that compromise the function or durability of the piece under normal, intended use. This includes, but is not limited to:
Structural Cracks: Hidden cracks or flaws that were present at the time of delivery and become apparent after initial use.
Glaze Faults: Significant bubbling, flaking, or inconsistencies in the glaze that affect the product's functionality or are clearly a manufacturing error.
Incorrect Product Received: If you receive a product that is different from what you ordered (e.g., wrong size, color, or item).
What Our Warranty Does NOT Cover:
Due to the unique, handcrafted nature of our earthenware, certain characteristics are not considered defects. We celebrate these features as part of the beauty of a handmade item. This policy does not cover:
Natural Variations: Slight differences in color, size, shape, or glaze finish are to be expected. These minor irregularities are not flaws but are a sign of authentic, handmade craftsmanship.
Wear and Tear: Normal signs of use over time, such as minor scuffs, fading of color, or small chips from accidental knocks, are not covered.
Improper Care or Misuse: Damage resulting from improper use, such as putting a non-microwave-safe item in a microwave, sudden temperature changes (thermal shock), or dropping the item.
Shipping Damage: Damage that occurs during transit is handled separately through our shipping insurance. Please refer to our Shipping & Returns Policy for instructions on how to report a damaged item upon arrival.
Making a Warranty Claim:
If you believe your item has a manufacturing defect, please contact our support team at support@celyn.shop within a reasonable time after discovering the issue. Please include your order number, a clear description of the problem, and high-resolution photos or a video that shows the defect.
Our team will review your claim and determine the best course of action, which may include a replacement, repair, or store credit, depending on the nature of the defect. Our goal is to ensure you have a beautiful and functional piece of art from our store for years to come.
